Beth Jacob Synagogue

Founded in 1913 in Montpelier, Vermont, Beth Jacob Synagogue has relied on volunteers for most of the past century to lead services, teach in our religious school, and organize community programs.

In 2010, we rebuilt our sanctuary. We now seek funds to reconstruct our communiity room and kitchen. The need is urgent - water has undermined the foundation and the engineers want us to finish the job soon.

To date, we have raised over $575,000 for both the sanctuary (completed) and the community room. This is an amazing accomplishment for such a small congregation. Now we are asking our friends  and family -- in Vermont and around the world -- to help us raise the additional $150,000 - $200,000 to finish the work. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated!
