AFFORDABLES @Bethany Manor Foundation Inc

Affordables in a non-profit organization founded in June of 2005.  

It began in a 1400 square foot facility with an amazing staff of 24 loyal volunteers.  In 2010, Affordables moved to it's current location with a facility of 8000 square feet and a whopping 54 volunteers.  

Our mission is to bring value added revenue to Bethany Life nursing home in Story City, Iowa.  We thrive on donated items from very generous friends and families in and around our community.  

Affordables offers much needed items to our community which otherwise would not be available without driving 15 to 30 miles away.  We currently offer furniture, books and toys, kitchen necessities, clothing, sporting goods, tools and hardware, plus antique and vintage items.   Affordables has presented over $400,000 to Bethany Life for various projects and needs.  Projects have included a handicap accessible van, Bethany Life Building Tomorrow fund, Christmas in the Households, among other needed items to make our residents feel like they are at HOME.

Affordables building is now in need of some love and we would hate to take away from our Mission to help residents at Bethany Life; so this is where you come in.

To create a safer environment for our customers, friends, and family to continue to shop our amazing store, we are reaching out to raise a few dollars for our mission.  We need to raise $3000 to be available for a Grant that will help us complete our to-do list.  Every little bit will help achieve our goals.
