Bethel Church

Compassion @ Bethel is an outreach of Bethel Church, in partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay, Metropolitan Ministries and the USDA, to feed and serve those in Tampa who are economically challenged and food insecure. Every Tuesday for over ten years, Bethel Church and partners have been providing free meals and food to anyone who is in need and currently provide  4,183 meals and helped 5,500 families with over 18,000 bags of groceries each year.  Last year we were able to give away 11 tons of produce that people could not afford to buy.

The Compassion Ministries outreach program is currently able to provide free bread products, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and dry canned food. The funding from Give Day Tampa Bay will allow us to update and purchase refrigeration equipment that will increase our capacity to receive and store fresh food onsite.
