Better Than Ezra Foundation

The Better Than Ezra Foundation, founded by renowned rock band Better Than Ezra, is committed to raising funds to support the renewal of structural and cultural heritage as well as education in New Orleans and South Louisiana. The Better Than Ezra Foundation has raised over $1.5M for various causes in and around New Orleans.

BTEF founded by platinum selling rock band has been committed to raising funds to support the renewal of the structural, cultural heritage and music education in New Orleans and Southern Louisiana during this past 20 years. Collectively we have raised over $1,700,000 for various causes in and around New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Our most significant initiative is our after school music and arts programs in schools in the greater New Olreans and Baton Rouge areas. Additional causes include Preservation Resource Center to renovate and rebuild a first responder's flooded home after Hurricane Katrina; New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) to aid the Summer Program for students and the creation of a state of the art recording studio; Brad Pitt's Make it Right Foundation to help rebuild homes in the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood which all members of the band and crew participated hands-on in the building; Audubon Nature Institute to build the Cool Zoo Splash Park at Audubon Zoo; Louisiana SPCA, CrimeStoppers; and the ALS/Gleason Initiative though Team Gleason.
