Big Bend Homeless Coalition, Inc. - Endowment Fund

Our mission is to end homelessness in the Big Bend through leadership, education, advocacy, and the provision of quality services. The Homeless Coalition currently runs 7 programs to aid in achieving our mission. These programs include AVH supportive services for veterans, HOPE community transitional housing, Home Plate, Home Place and Home Front, permanent housing programs, Rapid rehousing and Lead Agency for the Continuum of Care. By assessing and coordinating communication and services, we avoid unnecessary duplication of effort and close gaps in services. We educate ourselves and the community about the nature and extent of homelessness, including the needs of the people who are living through the experience of homelessness. We advocate for increased community, political and financial support for the homeless population and prevention of homelessness.
