Big Bend Hospice Foundation, Inc. - Endowment Fund

The mission of Big Bend Hospice is to provide compassionate care to individuals with a life-limiting illness, comfort to their families and emotional support to anyone who has lost a loved one. Big Bend Hospice adheres to the philosophy of palliative care, which addresses the physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual facets of care as an integrated whole.The goals of Hospice are to enhance quality of life by managing symptoms, help patients and their families maintain dignity and individuality by giving them control over care decisions. Big Bend Hospice does this by assisting with physical, emotional, social and spirituals needs, supporting patient choices about care and encouraging family or caregivers to work together with the Hospice team. Big Bend Hospice also provides Bereavement Services to families for 13 months after the death of a hospice patient.
