Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midland Texas Inc

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midland is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally-supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

“Bigs” are matched with “Littles” in either our traditional Community-Based Mentoring Program (where they spend their time out in the community) or in our School-Based Mentoring Program (where they meet at the child’s school campus). Depending on the program, they spend as much as eight hours per month or one hour a week together. Our professional staff  provides ongoing support for all children, their families and our volunteers to build and sustain strong friendships. Volunteers are rigorously screened and matched with children based on compatibility of interests and the specific needs of the children.  The preferences of parents/guardians are always honored in the selection of appropriate volunteers for their children.
