Big Brothers Big Sisters of the 7 Rivers Region, Inc.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the 7 Rivers Region is a donor and volunteer supported organization that brings the power of life-changing friendships to children.  We match children with caring volunteers to share time, experiences, friendship and fun.  Local and national research show that children matched with a Big Brother, Big Sister or Big Couple improve in self-confidence, do better in school, and get along better with friends and family members. 

In 2009, we served over 700 children through our offices in La Crosse, WI, Winona, MN and Trempealeau County, WI.  Matches share activities that both the child and volunteer enjoy.  Community based matches meet and do things throughout the community, while site based volunteers meet at a designated site, like a school or after school program.
