Big Maple Farms Natural Therapies Inc

BMFNT is located on a century family farm in Ridgway, PA.  About 9 years ago the Lord placed the idea of an animal assisted facility on the heart of the founder to help the community. At this time the present owners of the farm have decided to lease a portion of the farm to the organization allowing this program to finally become a reality. This ALL volunteer nonprofit organization has been created to help the community understand agriculture and connect with animals on a different level.

 BMFNT will be a place where adults and children, can come and enhance their quality of life through plants and animals.  BMFNT is offering on ground horsemanship skills, therapeutic riding, and on ground skills with small animals.  It will also be a place for individuals to connect with plants.  BMFNT  is hoping to help all individuals: veterans, handicapped, physically disabled, mental health individuals, Intelluctual developmentally disabled individuals, Autistic, Down Syndrome, Single mothers, widowed individuals, elderly individuals, kids that are struggling in school and need to get a way for a little bit, people that want to connect with an animal, 4H clubs, etc.  BMFNT wants to help you whether it be through volunteering or sessions, BMFNT is here for the community.  

At this time BMFNT is continually fundraising to maintain animal care for the 3 wonderful horses, 4 chickens, and 2 rabbits that are currently associated with BMFNT. There is also plans to build a Multipurpose Agriculture Building in the future. The Building will be a place for the animals and have a multipurpose area for use by individuals.  Here at BMFNT we are hopeful to obtain our goal and help people one step at a time.  The animals and the people need a place where they can all come together and connect!
