The Bike Safe I M Foundation came into being through a near-tragedy involving a kind and warm-hearted 8-year-old boy named Ian M.
In August of 2012, Ian was hit by an SUV and drug 80-feet. Without his bicycle helmet Ian wouldn't be alive today.
Ian, his family, and friends wanted to ensure less children were injured or killed as a result of car-bicycle accidents,and help those living in the aftermath of a past accident. To that effort, they formed the Bike Safe IM Foundation.
The Bike Safe IM Foundation has lofty goals. But with the help of concerned citizens and caring donors our target of bringing our safety message to large numbers of children, and offering victims assistance will eventually become a reality in all fifty states.
