Bike Walk Mississippi

Bike Walk Mississippi serves as the primary source for safety and educational resources, tools and technical assistance for bicycle and pedestrian related issues in Mississippi.  We are the only STATEWIDE bicycle and pedestrian advocacy nonprofit and we are working for you! 

• Your donations help us to advocate for increased safety and access for bicyclists, pedestrians and all vulnerable users of the roads in Mississippi.  
• Your donations helped us move Mississippi from #47 to #32 as a nationally ranked Bicycle Friendly State!  
• Your donations allow us to provide tools and resources to teachers and parents across the state to make it easier & safer for children to walk & bike to school.  
• Your donations helped us get 16 Mayors to make a national commitment to support bike paths & sidewalks in MS in 2015!
• Your donations allow us to provide training courses, workshops and assistance to build more bicycle and pedestrian friendly communities across MS! 
• Your donations allowed us to launch www.changelanestopass.com - the STATEWIDE campaign working to increase safety for bicyclists by humanizing cyclists and changing motorist behavior!
• Your donations help us advocate for the rights of all people to be safe to travel the roads on foot or by bicycle, whether by choice or by need. 

Because of you, the Change Lanes to Pass video PSA's are now in production and set for release in November, 2015. That means, we are now ready to move forward in the next phase of the campaign!  

We need your help to raise the funds needed to take the campaign around the state where we can provide bicycle safety training and workshops to people all over Mississippi!  Your donation will be used to educate law enforcement officers, new drivers, fleet vehicle operators, engineers, planners, elected officials and other motorists and bicyclists using Mississippi's roads.
