We energize community creativity and inspiration to improve parks and trails on Bainbridge Island.

Description

Islander and visitors alike, Bainbridge Island's spectacular park and trails system welcomes you! 

Support the Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation, enhancing the island's parks and trails for recreation, health and wellbeing, and connection. Your gift through Give Big will:  

• Extend the network of public trails that connect Bainbridge Island’s neighborhoods, schools, parks and community centers  

• Lead campaigns for new opportunities for exercise and play, like the new bike parks and playgrounds  

• Increase public parklands. (The Parks & Trails Foundation has expanded Strawberry Hill by 19 acres over the past three years!)

• Support year-round stewardship of public natural spaces through Student Conservation Corps, Summer Trails Crew and other work-learn and volunteer programs for youths and young adults

• Provide community grants that empower local groups and individuals to improve parks, trails and other public recreational environments
