Birthright Counseling, St. Louis

Birthright Counseling St Louis is a non-profit organization which cares for women with an unplanned pregnancy, during any stage of her pregnancy and for as long as she needs after her baby's birth. BCSL supports women in making the choice to have their babies. We do not get politically involved, protest, show graphic images or evangelize. We offer free professional counseling including, crisis intervention, ongoing, individual counseling, couples and family counseling, post-partum counseling, post-abortion counseling and counseling for the father of the baby. We provide pregnancy tests, educational group counseling, support groups, pregnancy workshops, home and hospital visits, baby starter packs, maternity clothes and 'a Bed for every Baby'. BRCSL has a 'Scholarship Program' for tuition and educational assistance, whether it is for a GED, vocational school or college. We have 'Melissa's Smile' Program for parents whose baby will be born with disabilities. This program offers financial support with medical costs and specialized therapy and equipment. Our 'Financial Aid' program assists women who qualify with rent, utilities, transportation, prescriptions and food. All services are free of charge.

Birthright Counseling, St. Louis' Mission of 'every woman having the right to give birth and every baby having the right to be born' is the foundation of our professional services. We know many women are facing dire, seemingly insurmountable personal or relational circumstances. Whether she is a 27 year old with an opioid addiction, a 34 year old in an abusive relationship or a 19 year old afraid of having to leave college, we have the resources to help. We want women and men to know that if they want to choose life, they will be supported and cared for.

Birthright Counseling, St Louis has four full time office locations. Offices are in Brentwood, Midtown, Hazelwood and Lemay.

BCSL operates solely on private donations from individuals, businesses and foundations and accepts no government funding. We do participate in the MO Pregnancy Resource Tax Credit Program.
