Blessings Unleashed is made possible through our partnerships with animal shelters & rescues, local animal advocates and professional dog trainers along with the Green River Correctional Complex trainng program.

Every three months our rescue dogs are placed in the prison training program.  Once the dogs have succesfully completed the program, they will be placed with an advanced trainer to learn skills in order to pass the public access test and be paired with an individual with autism spectrum disorder.

The benefits of this program are a win-win for all involved.  Offenders gain skills necessary to support succesful rehabilitation, re-entry, & ultimately providing public safety.  This is an opportunity for the offenders to re-pay their communities and some of the debts caused by their crimes. But best of all, Homelss dogs are trained and placed as free service dogs to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

Our Mission & Goals are as follows:

Mission: To enrich the lives of the dogs, inmates & individuals with autism by teaching the inmates life & social skills and placing service dogs with individuals affected by autism spectrum disorder.

Goals:

1. To improve the overall quality of life for inmates living in correctional facilities by teaching them proper life & social skills through positive reinforcement dog training.

2. To meet the ever growing needs of the autism community by placing service dogs with those in need.

3. To help ease the stress and financial hardship of families living with autism across throughout the United States by providing our dogs at no charge.

4. To reduce the number of homeless dogs and the untimely death of shelter dogs.
