Blount County Childrens Center Inc

Each year, hundreds of children come to us for help.  We provide a safe place and a smiling, professional person who listens to the child's story - so that he/she does not have to tell and re-tell it again to other agencies.  We coordinate our efforts with law enforcement, DHR, the DA and others.  We also provide professional counseling to victims and their families for as long as they need it - free of charge.  And we go into schools all over the county, teaching children how to recognize, prevent and stop child abuse.  In addition, a happy, helpful person visits some homes monthly to help new moms learn to give the love and care that their baby needs.
