Blue Skies offers week-long family retreats to bring the hope of Christ to families living through the challenges of pediatric cancer. Our hope is that children who are sick will laugh and play again; that siblings, who often compete with illness, will feel cherished and valued; and, that marriages and families will be renewed and strengthened. We dream of a day when no families suffer from pediatric cancer... until then, there is Blue Skies.

More than 50,000 families in the U.S. are suffering from pediatric cancer, a devastating childhood illness that impacts the entire family. For these families Blue Skies is a week of healing, new friends and beautiful memories they will cherish forever.

Blue Skies retreats are provided for ailing families at no direct cost thanks to the generous support of volunteers and donors, and each family costs approximately $3000 to attend the retreat. This year, we are hosting 8 retreats for 12 families each. The cost of hosting these families plus additional retreat costs total approximately $400,000 for 2015.

Retreat 2 which took place May 31st-June 6th is holding a fundraising challenge to raise the balance of their $50,000 goal.
