SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT: Within a 40 day process, Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence can provide a school with data on their strengths and weaknesses in nine critical areas of school performance. This data is based upon feedback from students, parents, teachers,administrators, and support staff. Within that same 40 day process, BRSE can get a school started on the path to improvement by delivering a Blueprint for Excellence Plan that provides strategies for overcoming deficiencies and connects the school with leaders from other schools who have a proven track record in the target school's area of weakness. Over the last 5 years, almost 70% of schools engaged with the Blue Ribbon team have seen positive gains on student performance.


NETWORKING AND BLUE RIBBON ACADEMY: Through its ongoing network of regional workshops and and national conferences, BRSE provides a structure for continuous improvement and a means to celebrate and reward success.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE: BOLT is designed to allow 3rd through 12th graders explore the different elements of leadership so that they can have an impact in their community and school. Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence recognizes the leadership capacity in every student. The BOLT program to helps students discover that potential within themselves. By partnering with the Disney Youth Educational Series (YES), BRSE helps students learn how to write their own story, create their own brand, and explore opportunities to have positive impact in their own community. With the Disney parks as their classroom, students have an opportunity to see first hand what positive culture, tenacity, and having a big dream can create.
