Blue Mountain Project

A nonprofit organization

10 donors

BLUElab Hagely Gap has been working directly with teachers and principles at our schools in determining their design projects for this year's volunteer trip.  One of several projects they will be implementing while volunteering this May is the construction of whiteboards for the classrooms.

BLUElab Hagley Gap have funding to build 1 whiteboard at this time but we are hoping new donors to the BMP will step forward to fund the purchase of materials so that the volunteers can build at least 5 for Minto and 5 for Penlyne.

A whiteboard, also known as a dry erase board, is a glossy, white surface for nonpermanent markings.  They allow for rapid marking and erasing of markings on their surface.  Our teachers have had whiteboards on their wish lists for many years.

All money raised will go directly to the purchase of materials so that Bluelab Hagely Gap can build the whiteboards.

BLUElab Hagley Gap are volunteers from the University of Michigan that have been partnering with the Blue Mountain Project since 2008.  Their mission is to bring together students of a variety of engineering and non-engineering backgrounds in the process of understanding the needs of our community by designing, testing, modifying, and implementing their designs effectively.

Please donate today to make a difference in the quality of our schools. If we raise 700 dollars we will close the campaign as our goal is 10 white boards.
