Blueprint Ministries

A nonprofit organization

Blueprint Ministries has been restoring substandard homes for individuals in urban San Antonio for over 20 years. We engage over 1,600 volunteers annually, most of whom are middle and high school students, to work on home repair projects for those in need. These projects include roof replacements, siding and drywall repair, wheelchair ramps, and flooring. All of our work is to bring Glory to God and to make Him known.

We usually use the Big Give to strengthen our tools, facilities, and capacity so that we can serve more homeowners across San Antonio.

But this year, something extraordinary happened. Just days ago, we met a family whose courage and faith moved us to change course. Their 18-year-old son recently survived a tragic accident that left him blind and facing lifelong challenges. They came to us asking for a small repair—grab bars in the bathroom—but what we found was a home in such disrepair that it could no longer provide the safe, stable environment they need.

So we’re doing something unconventional: we are focusing all of our Big Give fundraising efforts on one, incredibly special family.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by September 17. With the help of our staff and volunteers, that will allow us to complete nearly $90,000 worth of critical repairs—transforming this house into a home filled with safety, dignity, and hope.
