Shared experiences and lifetimes of memories.  We are so fortunate to have Bogus Basin in our backyard.  Just 16-miles from town, we can freely cruise down a groomer, watch an engaged group of students learn with their classmates, hike through a field of wildflowers, glide on a Nordic track, bike some great trails, and savor the fresh mountain air.

OUTDOOR LEARNING IS ENHANCED LEARNING.

Bogus Basin continues to expand environmental education programming for kids on the mountain.  Mountain Discovery Camp, Snow School, School Nights, health camps – and more.  The opportunities to learn in this “classroom without walls” are limitless. 

Did you know:

• Through a collaborative partnership with Boise School District, low-income kids enrolled in summer school will have the opportunity to experience a day of learning with Bogus Basin’s environmental education instructors on the mountain this summer.

 

• Bogus Basin subsidizes the cost of hosting more than 2,000 students on the mountain for snow school – a science based classroom learning experience on snow schools.

 

• The School Nights program at Bogus Basin provides deeply discounted ticket, lesson, and rental rates - helping to ensure that every student – regardless of income, has a chance to try skiing or snowboard with their classmates.
