Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity brings families in need together with community volunteers to build houses - and so much more.

Founded in 1990, Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity has built 65 simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with hard working families in Ada County.

We work with families earning 30-50% of area median income, living in substandard housing, and able to qualify for a Habitat mortgage. Building costs are kept low through volunteer labor as well as financial and in-kind support for obtaining land and materials.  Homes are sold at no profit and Boise Valley Habitat for Humanity carries the zero-interest mortgage. Our program is a hand up, not hand out.

Our current project, a 15 home subdivision, is nearing completion. Over 700 dedicated volunteers will contribute approximately 22,000 hours in construction and administrative support this year. But we still need financial assistance for building materials. Idaho Gives provides a unique opportunity for us to tell you about our work and request your help.

Please join us on May 5th to raise $5,000 to purchase materials to continue construction on a Habitat home. It’s a modest but very important goal.  Every donation makes a difference...

Thank you for your generous contribution!
