Bonner Community Food Center

The focus of Bonner Community Food Bank is to provide food and food related items to clients of Bonner County who are lower income, disabled, seniors, or otherwise food-insecure.  In 2015, nearly 900 households were served on a monthly basis through the market shopping experience in both our Sandpoint and Priest River locations.  The BackPack program (in its fifth year!) is delivering, on average, 340 bags each Friday to 6 schools within the Lake Pend Orielle School District and NIC Headstart.  This past year 11 households were matched with donors for our annual “Match a Family Christmas Program.”
