Boxcar Youth Theatre Company

Boxcar Youth Theatre Company has served nearly 200 youth during its first two years of operation. Programming includes theatre camps and workshops for all ages, from preschool through high school, plus performance opportunities for third-grade through high school. We not only teach theatre, kids in the program also learn about responsibility and the importance of community.  Children are recruited as actors, as well as to work behind the scenes on sets, lighting, sound, costimes and much more. We offer our older students opportunities to participate in directing and other leadership roles.  Please consider a donation to Boxcar Youth Theatre Company to help children in Hastings and surrounding areas learn, grow and perform.

The 2014 season includes the musical Cinderalla and the Glass Slipper for grades 3 through 8, and a play, The Secret Garden for grades 9 through 12.
