It just takes one.

This has been the motto for the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City. It only takes one staff, volunteer, or mentor to change a child's life. As long as we have made an impact on one child, we are doing our job. 

The staff and volunteers at the Boy and Girls Club of Cathedral City have dedicated themselves, from when the doors open to when they close, to create a safe and positive environment for local youth to feel like they can BE GREAT and explore their potential. 

We provide programs that will allow are youth to leave out doors with:

• Positive Self- identity
• Health and Well-Being
• A Moral Compass
• Competencies: Education, Employment, Social, Emotional, Cultural

• Kids Create Peace
• SMART MOVES: Skills Mastery and Resistance Training
• SMART GIRLS: Skill Mastery and Resistance Training

Healthy Lifestyles:

• Triple Play
• Culinary Academy
• SMART MOVES: Skills Mastery and Resistance Training
• Sports Leagues

Our Youth Development Strategy is the underlying Boys and Girls Club programming which maximizes the goal of building self esteem and responsibility, help youth gain:

• A sense of Competence
• A sense of Usefulness
• A sense of Belonging
• A sense of Power and Influence

Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, espacially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
