Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County Inc

The Boys & Girls Club of Morgan county is a youth serving
organization. We provide afterschool and school out programing for youth ages 6-18 years old. We currently serve youth from Mooresville and surroundingcommunities.

What we want for the youth of our community. We want to be the place where “Great Futures Start Here" We want to be the catalyst that pushes our members to have successful futures. We provide a positive safe environment; caring supportive relationships; opportunities and expectation; recognition; and FUN for all the youth we serve. It is our goal that by giving our youth these things they will achieve three priority outcomes:

Acedmic Success- Graduate from high school with a plan for the future. Be ready for college trade school, military, or employment.

Good Character & Citizenship-Be engaged citizen involved in the community, register to vote and model strong character.

Healthy Lifestyle- Adopt a healthy diet, practice healthy lifestyle choices and make a lifelong commitment to fitness

If we are going to succeed and have "Great Futures Start
Here" we need continued support from the community.

 

Consider the following statistics about the youth we serve:

• 54% of our members come from a household with an annual income of $25,000 or less
• Half of those members come from a household with an annual income of $5,000 or less
• The club currently serves over 200 youth from the community
• 96% of members "Enjoy coming to the Club"
• 80% of members say "Club helps me do better in school"
• 90% of members say "I can be anything I want"
• 90% of members say "I Like doing things to help others"
