The BRASS Foundation was born out of the tragic avalanche deaths of U.S. Ski Team Athletes, Ronnie Berlack and Bryce Astle. While training for the Europa Cup in Europe,  an inbounds avalanche in  Solden, Austria took their lives.  The 2018 Olympics were in their vision, and our foundation is here to create a legacy of changes in the culture of avalanche safety.   Its mission is to lobby for the evolution of snow safety systems and to advocate for greater penetration of avalanche education.  Our foundation has been sponsoring the U.S. Ski Team coaches, and athletes in an Avalanche 1 Training course by AIRE for the last three years.  Brass has reached out to Ski Teams across the nation pushing to create a legacy of changes in this culture of avalanche safety   Please help us continue this legacy of top training for the teams and surrounding clubs that we recently branched out to and will continue to support.   Thank you from the parents of Ronnie and Bryce.
