Briargate Welcome Table

The Welcome Table provides over 400 meals to individuals and families every Tuesday evening. With more cuts to food programs on a Federal level, need is soaring for our target population. Please consider a generous gift to keep us afloat another year.  The program was launched in 2019 and primarily serves the Shively, Pleasure Ridge Park and Valley Station, but is open to all. As a result of COVID-19, what began as a weekly "in house" meal pivoted to drive-through service. We're now serving over 1,700 meals per month! While most of the proteins for our main dishes are provided by Dare to Care (which has also been terribly affected the Federal cuts), the majority of our expenses are in obtaining other ingredients for entrees, side dishes and packaging.  We thank you for your assistance as we work to feed our neighbors.
