Bridge 2 Hope St. Louis

Bridge 2 Hope was started in 2019 as a vision in the heart of Krystal Barnett, our Founder & CEO. At Bridge 2 Hope, we are a dedicated team of changemakers and we champion for all children and families. We are driven by a shared vision to make sure that every child has access to an education that offers them choices and pathways that allow them to maximize their full potential. We equip, connect and engage underrepresented parents and caregivers to advocate for a quality education for all children. Since June of 2020, with your generous support, we have educated 296 parents through our public Parent Advocacy Fellowship. We have evolved our learning space and we have now equipped, connected and engaged 98 parents through our NEW Parent Education Advocacy Academy (PEAA). From fall 2022 to spring 2024, we have had 170 PEAA Graduates. Additionally, we have served 243 children and had more than 4,000 1:1 Conversations with Parents and Families in St. Louis City and County. 

During our PEAA cohort sessions attended by our parents, we offer tutoring services in collaboration with Restored For More. This partnership enables us to closely track the progress of each student, underscoring our dedication to delivering thorough support and resources. Our anticipated outcomes include tangible improvements in skills, heightened retention of knowledge, and elevated overall performance. Consequently, we expect students to achieve reading proficiency at or above their respective grade levels.

Our latest collaboration with Worldreader amplifies our capacity to offer a broad range of accessible reading materials to the state of Missouri and beyond, nurturing a culture of literacy and empowerment.
