The Bridgewater Historical Society was organized in 1928 by descendants of the first families to settle in the Town. The purpose of the Society is to make the colorful past of the Town as widely know as possible, and to preserve its historical memorabilia.
The building in the center of Town, known as the Peck House, is managed by the Bridgewater Historical Society's volunteer Board of Directors. It is full of artifacts, photographs and historic documents and is open to the public several times per year at no charge.
The work that the Society does has always been built upon the generosity of Bridgewater. Now more than ever, we need your help to make sure that our history is preserved and available for you and generations to come.
From all of us, Thank you!
