Bridging Az Furniture Bank

Bridging AZ was founded by Jim Piscopo, a disabled US Air Force veteran and his wife Donna, who realized that families transitioning from shelters to a home of their own are economically disadvantaged. This disadvantage is either a byproduct of or frequently leads to social issues e.g. domestic violence, substance abuse, learning disabilities, loss of a spouse, lack of job training or just hard times.

With just 3 full time employees and a handfull of volunteers Bridging AZ helped over 60,000 people here in Arizona.

Bridging's commitment to serve the poor helps create healthy families and home environments where each family member may flourish in mind, body and spirit.

Bridging AZ needs your help to stay committed to this social cause and create a positive impact to the communities we live. The direct cost to Bridging is approximately $42.25 per bed to pickup, sterilize, wrap in plastic and distribute to a family in need.  You can help by donating for Arizona Gives Day.
