The BDCHS Mission:

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School strives to be a model collegiate high school, offering a broad and rigorous technology-rich educational program to students from diverse backgrounds. Within a caring, respectful multicultural environment, the school is committed to instilling in each student a desire to learn, to take appropriate risks, and to overcome challenges. 

The school community is committed to developing students who are life-long learners and responsible citizens who will succeed in the 21st century.

To give all students a rigorous academic and experiential collegiate education which prepares them to become leaders in their communities.

BDCHS list of achievements since it's start in 2007:

1. BDCHS has earned eight (8) consecutive A Grades from the FLDOE and is one of only two high schools in Hillsborough County to do so. 

2. Recognized for having the highest four year graduation rate of ALL high schools in the state of Florida (1st out of 448) for 2016-2017

3. Named a 2015 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Depart. Of Education

4. Recognized as a 2017 Florida School of Excellence by the FLDOE

5. Named in 2017 the sixth best charter high school in Florida by Niche

6. Earned AdvancED SACS-CASI Accreditation

7. Earned High Performing Status with a 15 year charter by the FLDOE

8. Named “One of America’s Most Challenging High Schools” in 2015 by The Washington Post 
9. In ’16 & ‘17 named one of America’s Best Charter Schools by US News and World Report 
10. Active pursuit of scholarships; among the class of 2017 students there were over 3 million in scholarship offers (up from 2016’s 1.3 million) not including Bright Future’s Scholarships
11. Non-Profit Finalist of the Year by The Tampa Bay Business Journal
12. Named “A Top Ranked Public High School” in 2016 by The Tampa Bay Business Journal
13. Earned “The Golden School Award” by FLDOE for parent volunteerism (’13-‘17)
