The March to Normandy - D-Day 70th Anniversary

The Battlefield High School Marching Bobcats have been selected to represent the Washington DC / Mid-Atlantic region in a musical tribute to the greatest generation and their victory over Nazi oppression.  Battlefield is one of six (6) High School marching bands from the United States to perform in this event, and take part in this historic, first ever, anniversary parade.  Bands from the west coast, mountain, central, north east, and southern regions of the United States will join the Battlefield Bobcats in this parade.  Additionally, bands and participants from Canada, the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Denmark, and other European countries will participate.

Dignitaries and military officials from the United States, Canada, and all across Europe will attend.  The President of the United States, cabinet members, and officials representing all branches of the Armed Forces will attend.
