At BCM, we encounter people you see every day--school janitors, fast food workers, part-time administrative assistants. For many people, coming to BCM represents the first time they have ever had to ask for help. Every client is greeted by a smiling face at the reception desk and a tasty snack in the waiting room, and they leave with hope for tomorrow, which may include bags of food, a voucher for free clothing, or a pledge for financial assistance. We also offer snack bags and use of the phone and computer to our homeless neighbors.
BCM is supported by a network of 32 area churches and countless individual and corporate donors who believe in serving our community. Most of our work is done by dedicated volunteers, who tell us they are continually awed by the faith and courage of our clients. Our hope in all of our programs is to equip people to prosper in the future, keeping their families and homes intact and providing them with a lifeline of hope.
