BARC

Since our founding in 2003, BARC has funded 70,000+ spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats in the St. Louis metro area. In 2022 BARC's spay/neuter program was also expanded to Rolla, MO. 

An all-volunteer organization, BARC offers year-round spay/neuter services targeting the low-income population.   In 2023, we fixed 4,704 pets.

BARC removes all financial barriers and excuses for not fixing pets. There are no residency restrictions to use our program; however, proof of government assistance is always required. 

BARC relies on donations to offer this much needed, wonderful community service provided to low-income Missouri/Illinois residents.
