Bulgarian-Macedonian National Educational and Cultural Center

The Mission is to preserve, perpetuate and present the rich cultural heritage of the Bulgarian and Macedonian people, and to use the arts as a powerful tool for promoting tolerance and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds.

1. Performing Ensemble - a group of 30 dancers who present Bulgarian/Macedonian songs and dances in Allegheny county and beyond. 2. SOUP SEGA! Culinary project - Creating 14 different soups which are sold for nine months each season. We have completed the 12th year. 3. Museum & Exhibits - Presentation of Bulgarian/Macedonian artifacts in specially created showcases. 4. Community Group Rentals - Rental of the Markoff Social Hall to a wide variety of community groups. 5. Multi-Media Technology Project - Creation of a highly advanced technology center to enable cataloging and preservation of our library, collections and archives.
