Our purpose is to provide each child a bag with essential items at the time they are removed from their homes.

We provide children with a bag that contains items for their immediate needs.  These items vary depending on their age. Infants will be provided with diapers, wipes, bottles, sleepers, outfit and baby wash.  Older children receive underclothing, socks, pajamas, an outfit, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, brushes/combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.  All children are also given a blanket.  We do our best to stock car seats for infants and toddlers, when funds permit.

We have many community members and organizations that donate items for the children.  This allows us to get by without a large budget.  All funds received go directly to the closet; rent is our largest expense, followed by car seats.

We rent a space in a secure building that is available 24 hours a day to social workers to pick up items whenever they are needed. We have no paid staff, volunteers are used for all aspects, picking up donations, doing inventory, stocking shelves, etc.
