The Business of Doing Good

The Business of Doing Good teaches kids to change the world by solving social problems in their communities.  

We teach kids how to create, present, and launch their social entrepreneurial endeavors.  We partner with social entrepreneurs and community leaders to provide a unique, dynamic and engaging curriculum.  

Our video (above) tells the story of our pilot programs in Boston and Philadelphia in summer 2015.  And here are some of the results:

• 88% of participants said they were confident or very confident they could make a difference
• 85% of participants said they were confident or very confident they could come up with their own business idea
• 70% of participants said they were confident or very confident they understood how a business is run
• 70% of participants said they were confident or very confident they could use data to make business decisions
• 85% of participants said they were confident or very confident presenting their ideas in front of large groups

Next up is TBDG - In ACTION! For new and returning TBDG kids. We will teach the kids how to create a business that solves a social problem. They will meet an expert in social media, and work with a mentor, to either further their project (for pilot program participants), or develop their unique project (for new participants).
