If we can save just one through our message that someone cares, it will all be worth it. Butterfly Backpacks assembles and delivers backpacks full of toiletries, encouraging notes and letters to individuals in recovery from addiction. It is our hope that recipients going through recovery will see just how much they are loved when they open a Butterfly Backpack and see all the personal items individually packaged with care. As they dig deeper in the backpack each person will read Maegan’s story, letters from her younger brother, sister and mom, and see the beautiful hand drawn butterflies made by our family friend with Down Syndrome, Jill. Jill says, “each butterfly is exactly as it should be.” These individuals are exactly on the journey of healing they need to be and they need to know someone is cheering them on in their very difficult battle. Butterfly Backpacks is the family that will partner with addiction recovery centers like The Healing Place to love and support each person through recovery. We have donated over 5000 Backpacks to The Healing Place! Every dollar donated goes directly to providing another Backpack and saving another life. Truly Butterfly Beautiful!
