Byte Back is a nationally unique leader in workforce development and adult education. We jointly tackle barriers due to a lack of digital skills and the growing racial wealth gap for underrepresented communities.
At Byte Back, we take innovative approach to digital skill training: meet learners where they are and start at the beginning. Rather than exclude adults who don't yet have digital skills, Byte Back built a digitally inclusive program.
The pathway follows a ladder of skill growth designed for low-tech populations. It leads from 1) foundational digital skills, to 2) industry-recognized certifications to 3) soft skill building and digital career entry. Adults start with the foundations and within a year, without bouncing between training providers, and at no cost, they can enter a family-sustaining wage career.
Last year 57 graduates entered new careers that increased their average annual income by more than $23,000.
