The Children's Advocacy Center of Paris

The Children's Advocacy Center of Paris (CAC) believes that no child that has suffered abuse should be subjected to further trauma from the investigation, protection and justice systems. We believe that we can reduce the re-traumatization of children by utilizing the CAC model based on joint investigation by a Multi-Disciplinary Team. The CAC model is based the simple but powerful concept of coordination between the CAC and the professionals involved in the child abuse intervention system.

The CAC of Paris provides a child-friendly atmosphere which utilizes a Multidisciplinary Team approach to the investigation of child abuse cases while providing the critical services child victims need as they go through an investigation. Services provided by the CAC include: specialized child forensic interviews, family advocacy services, on and off-site forensic medical services, mental health services, case coordination and case review services, rainbow room services (emergency items for children entering foster care or working with CPS), and community education.
