Chrysalis Academy Parent Association

Our mission is to enhance the education of our students because we firmly believe that with the proper supports, children of all abilities can achieve educational and lifelong success.

Chrysalis Academy Parent Association (CAPA) is made up of an elected board of parents with children who attend Chrysalis Academy. CAPA is a completely volunteer run organization. It was started by parents in 2005 to help support the unique and special needs of the students and to contribute to their supportive learning environment. We work together with our community to raise funds to fulfill our mission and serve the students of Chrysalis Academy. All the donations we receive directly benefit the students. Some examples of our supports are: Sensory equipment, iPads, tablets and learning applications to assist with communication, innovative communication technology, Occupational and Speech therapy supplies, reading specialist supplies, life skills training, multiple curriculum enhancement programs, support for STEM activities, student field trips, social skills training, playground equipment, physical activity/sports equipment, vocational training, alternative learning supplies, yoga & Zumba Classes, feeding therapy supplies, art therapy supplies, music therapy, social, sensory and community activities. We offer individualized support for the specific needs of the student.
