CHD Families of Tucson

CHD Families of Tucson is committed to empowering parents of CHD children by creating paths to accessible resources. We aim to foster a close-knit community of CHD parents willing to share tips, advice, and locally-based programs that work for the specific needs of children born with Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs). As we gather this information, we will create a central online location where Tucson families can access this information at any time.

Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) Families of Tucson was founded in April of 2016 by two heart moms, Stacy Lipinczyk and Melissa Nail. Both of their children were born with congenital heart defects, and they felt it was important to create a support network for families with children who have a CHD. We are located in Southern Arizona.

Long-term, we will seek to sponsor these programs, and sponsor individual families who need extra support. We work to bring the very best programs to the Heart Families of Southern Arizona, and to pair our families with the service or center that best meets their individual needs. We believe that no family should have to sacrifice level of care due to lack of time, income, or other resources. We exist to bridge that gap.
