Christian Scholarship Fund of Arizona

The mission of the Christian Scholarship Fund of Arizona is to provide scholarships for tuition of students attending private schools in Arizona. The scholarships are based primarily on need. The qualifying scholarships and schools shall meet all applicable Arizona law. The Christian Scholarship Fund of Arizona, raises funds through the dollar-for-dollar Arizona private school tuition tax credit. More than 90 percent of all funds go directly to scholarships.

The Christian Scholarship Fund of Arizona, for federal tax purposes, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Further, it is a "support organization".

The Christian Scholarship Fund of Arizona, for Arizona State purposes, is a qualified school tuition organization able to receipt donors to qualify for the Arizona income tax credit.

Notice (A.R.S. 43-1603)
A school tuition organization cannot award, restrict or reserve scholarships solely on the basis of donor recommendation.
A taxpayer may not claim a tax credit if the taxpayer agrees to swap donations with another taxpayer to benefit either taxpayer's own dependent.
