CLASS Supported Employment

For many people with disabilities, finding meaningful employment can be challenging. Through Supported Employment, CLASS helps individuals overcome barriers, discover their strengths, and build pathways to competitive, integrated employment.

When Aiden graduated from high school, he wasn't sure what came next. He knew he loved technology, problem solving, and working independently, but he had little work experience and no clear career path. Through CLASS's Supported Employment program, Aiden explored different workplaces, including a recreation center, grocery store, IT department, and library, to discover where his talents fit best.

The library was a perfect match. The quiet environment, organized tasks, and opportunity to work independently helped Aiden gain confidence and envision a future for himself. With support from his Employment Specialist, he developed workplace skills, explored accommodations, prepared for interviews, and ultimately secured employment that aligned with his strengths and goals.
