Children's Museum Tucson | Oro Valley is a trusted resource for quality early childhood education experiences for families in Southern Arizona. Founded in 1986, CMT has two locations, one in downtown Tucson and a satellite location located in Tohono Chul Park in Oro Valley. Both locations serve families with children, ages birth to 12. CMT endeavors to be a resource for all children while reflecting the diversity in our community.

CMT programs amplify the voices of people and communities who have not historically had access to the educational programs and community engagement offered by museums, including people with limited English proficiency, people from marginalized races and ethnicities, people with low-income levels, and people with disabilities. One of our priorities is expanding our outreach to Spanish-speaking populations and bilingual programming.

Inclusive programs include Adventure Learning Tours and Outreach (programs to bring free bilingual STEAM instruction and activities to Title I schools throughout Southern Arizona), Discovery Nights (a free, bilingual program that provides flexibility for working families), MyTime (a half-priced sensory-reduced time for children with disabilities), and Museums for All (daily discounted admission to families enrolled in public food assistance).

Our values are realized through programs and events that fulfill TCM's belief that attending the Children's Museum is a right, not a privilege for all children.
