Council of Organizations Serving the Deaf

Our organization are working toward the common interests of the Deaf, Deaf/Blind, and Hard of Hearing citizens (hereafter referred to as Deaf, Deaf/HH), of the Greater New Orleans Area (GNO). We also promoting and encouraging participation of the Deaf, Deaf/Blind, Hard of Hearing and, Hearing person to have the spirit of camaraderie within the Greater New Orleans Area based Deaf Community. Lastly, we are supporting the special events or activities that affect the Deaf/HH Community.

Council of Organizations Serving the Deaf is a group of non- profit organizations working together to host Louisiana Deaf Festival. Non- profit organizations included: Greater New Orleans Association of the Deaf, Chinchuba Alumni Association, New Orleans Black Deaf Advocates, West Bank Association of the Deaf, and St. Gerard Community for the Deaf.
