Imagine...you are a highly trained physician dedicated to giving the best possible care to your patients and yet suddenly your new supervisor starts making hateful, biased comments based on your national origin and religion. You try to ignore him and focus on your work but then the undeserved reprimands begin. They are more than just humiliating, they are a negative mark on your record that affects your pay, promotions and standing. Who will you turn to for help in this very stressful time? You will need a unique set of legal skills paired with the competent cultural and religious understanding that is required to "get" what you are going through and to craft a strong legal response that protects your rights and future opportunities.  AlHamdulillah, CAIR is there, in your community ready and able to step in and be a strong advocate for your rights. Your future opportunities, as well as your honor, are restored.

Imagine... you are just starting out in life, you have an entry level job and are working hard to build your future for your family, especially your kids. At the same time you are also striving hard to become a better Muslim and that means observing the 5 daily prayers and attending Jumaah. How will you ask your boss for the time you need to do your prayers? You're afraid that your request will be turned down or even that you’ll be fired. What can you do? You really can't afford to lose this job, your kids are depending on you. Then you remember that CAIR is there, ready to help you make those requests in the right way, helping you get a positive outcome and ready to stand up for you if it goes the other way. It's really good to know that CAIR has your back. AlHamdulillah.

Why does CAIR do all of this? Because as Americans we believe in "Liberty & Justice for All" but we know that Muslims are often deprived of both. And as Muslims we know that Allah loves that his creatures support, uphold and work hard for justice. CAIR's role is to help American Muslims when they face religious or ethnic discrimination and to help restore the justice that has been denied.

We live in a country that offers many opportunities and one that claims the ideals of liberty and justice for all. However those ideals also require that every generation of Americans struggles and strives to renew them so that all Americans, regardless of  religion, national origin or race might have equal access to those opportunities. CAIR exists to help the Muslim American community right the wrongs  committed against them due to bias, bigotry and prejudice because of religion, national origin or ethnicity. Having a professional organization on your side, helping you to regain your footing, can make all the difference between disaster and success.

By supporting CAIR’s work in our community you are participating in this very important work of upholding justice and ensuring the successes being built, day by day, that will continue to benefit the American Muslim community for generations to come. Can we count on you for your support today?
