Cairo Community Foundation

The mission of the Cairo Community Foundation is to preserve and enhance the quality of life in the Cairo Community and assist donors in realizing their charitable goals.

What does my Cairo Community Foundation donation do? Your donation is directed to the General Fund. This General Fund operates the Foundation, develops investments, and makes grants to numerous Cairo volunteer organizations throughout the year.

Can I donate to a Cairo Community Foundation Project Fund also? Yes!!! To donate to a specific project fund, use the in honor of or memorial field on the form to indicate the gift percentage you want to be directed to Cairo Community Foundation Project Funds.

For Go Big GIVE, Cairo Community Foundation is the fiscal agent for these projects:
- Gathering Place continued renovations.
- Cairo QRT new equipment as needed and additional supplies.
- Cairo Volunteer Fire Department always needs supplies and updated equipment.
- Cairo Steering Committee: This committee is currently working on the Next phases of the Welcome to Cairo entrance signs.
- Veterans Memorial upkeep and new memorial bricks.
- Community Food Pantry needs donations as the number of those served continues to grow.
- Cairo Area Children's Theatre and Progressive Ag Safety day - Children's programs for education and empowering.
