With a mission of bringing people together to discover, create and celebrate both the visual and performing arts, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido is the cultural center of North San Diego County.

The Center has been the place to enjoy creativity, conversation, and celebration since 1994. For over 27 years, the Center has been bringing people together to enjoy  programs, events, and resources that benefit over 286,000 annually. We are dedicated to making arts accessible for everyone in our community.

We believe the arts enhance our everyday lives and help define our culture. But our ability to present events and programs — and reach more youth, families, and seniors — is possible only through the support of generous community members. The challenges our artistic communities have faced over the past few years have made protecting the future of arts programming more critical.
