How We Got Started

The California Indian Heritage Center Foundation (CIHCF) was created in 2009 to serve California's Native community via support of educational programming, special events, outreach, and related projects at the State Indian Museum in Sacramento.  For details about the museum, visit the website at: www.parks.ca.gov/indianmuseum.

What's Happening Now

The Foundation, alongside California State Parks and the California Native American Heritage Commission, supports the planning, implementation, construction, and governance of the California Indian Heritage Center (CIHC) project. Your donation helps this project continue to move forward and better serve California's Native communities.

For more information, including CIHC project updates, visit: cihcfoundation.org or find us on Facebook.
